Michel Moinas qualified as a Chemist at E.N.S.C.M., Mulhouse, France then obtained a Ph.D. from Laval University, Canada. He is a European Patent Attorney, a Swiss and French Industrial Property Attorney with a C.E.I.P.I. Law degree from Strasbourg University. For 8 years Michel worked with Nestlé at their administrative center in Vevey, Switzerland, where his principal activities related to food technology and biochemistry notably in the areas of proteins and flavourings. In 1979 he founded Moinas & Cie, Geneva, which has merged into MOINAS & SAVOYE S.A., and in 1981 he founded Cabinet Michel MOINAS in France. Michel deals mainly with patents in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, in drafting, prosecutions, licensing, litigations, advices and due diligences, particularly for venture capital and I.P.O. He also deals with trademarks, plant variety registrations and contractual matters. He is a European (Community) Trademark Attorney as well. Michel is the founder and the present Chairman of AROPI, an Association of Swiss IP Practitioners.

Jean-Paul Savoye is a Horlogical-Engineer E.T.S. He has practised as a Swiss Industrial Property Attorney for 30 years and is a European Patent Attorney. After two years in industry, Jean-Paul joined the private practice and gained experience working in two private offices in Geneva. He was also editor of the Review of Horlogical Inventions. He then pursued his career with the Industrial Property Service of the Battelle Memorial Institute, Geneva, for over 20 years before joing us. Jean-Paul deals mainly with patents and has worked inter alia in the analysis and metering of biological liquids, medical and biomedical materials and devices, textile machinery, transportation, PVD and CVD coating technology and composite materials.
